2roam is compatible with all Apple, Android and Windows-based tablets and smartphones enabling engineers to access job schedules detailing the planned calls for each day. It enables them to make more efficient use of their time and create a more professional impact with customers. Engineers can view detailed information about each customer including site and device locations, key contacts, device inventories and full service histories.
Real-time job updates can be sent to the 2serv system detailing arrival and departure times, parts fitted, parts required, mileage and any incurred expenses such as parking, tolls, etc. Data is automatically uploaded into the 2serv system eliminating the need to manually input the information. This reduces the pressure on call controllers, improves data accuracy and increases the efficiency of the invoicing process, particularly for chargeable calls.
2roam also provides access to the latest parts listing for any specific print device. Engineers can see a full list of their current car stocks, enquire about parts availability from the warehouse and create parts requests if there are no current stocks. They can also create Return to Fit jobs when parts need to be ordered or collected.
Customer signatures can be quickly and easily captured when engineers complete each job. They are stored on 2serv and can be re-printed at any time to resolve queries with Time and Materials invoices. In addition, tablets and smartphones with integral cameras can be used to photograph any damage to devices to resolve disputes when chargeable work is carried out and invoiced.
